Welcome to Hotel Segas, the epitomy of Greek Hospitality. Run by the Segas Family, the hotel offers superb and personalised service at affordable prices. We are independent and family run hotel and we offer authentic Greek hospitality. We look after our guests as our extended family and they usually reward us with their loyalty and recommendation to friends and family. Repeat guests feel that they go back to visit friends. They often bring along other friends thus expanding the family further. Regulars have their favourite rooms and we always try to accommodate their desires and requests. So if you are bored of international hotel chains and character-less properties and you really like to meet the real Greek people and be treated as a real guest this is the place to be!!!

Our little hotel is a policy, procedure, regulation free-zone. We treat guests as friends and everybody does his or her best to make sure that all of us have a good time. That is why we all relax and enjoy the wonderful place and the privileged way of life we have. Things here are simple and genuine, with a touch of Greek anarchy and plenty of improvisation... We make people feel at home regardless from which road of life they arrive in our little hotel. People enjoy and they come back, they send us messages, flowers, sweets and all kinds of demonstrations of kindness. This is what hospitality is all about and we love to offer it to our guests from around the world. Loutraki is located 4 km away from the Corinth Canal and only 80 Km from Athens (about 1 hour). It is a very well established resort and one of the first spa towns in Greece, ever to attract tourists. With 10000 inhabitants year-round the city is less seasonal than most other resorts in Greece and equally welcoming in Spring and Autumn as during the summer months. It is also a distinctly authentic place where visitors blend with everyday Greek life and can attend local events and celebrations. Today Loutraki is a place where Athenians keep second homes and come most weekends to enjoy the beach and natural resources, fresh fish, and to try their lack at the local Casino. There are plenty of international visitors but of the sophisticated type... No mass tour operators are coming here and thus only independent, experienced and sophisticated tourists are attracted. The Segas Family Hotel Segas was established by the late Michael Segas back in 1965 assisted by his wife Catherine. Since then the hotel has undergone different phases and upgrades, from being a rooms-to-let house to a modern hotel. Their two children, son Aristedes and daughter Maria are now responsible for managing the hotel, with Mama-Catherine being the main host and in charge of the day-to-day operation of the hotel. Aristedes is the Managing Director and Maria is the Sales and Marketing Director, responsible for Greek and international accounts. The everyday housekeeping is in the capable hands of Eleni who ensures that all rooms are properly cleaned and maintained. Her daughter (yes another) Maria is also seen at the hotel helping her.

Prices and reservations Our aim is to try and keep our pricing simple and effective as well as to offer great value for money. We are not the cheapest hotel in town but we simply offer the best value for money in the area. We offer clean, spacious rooms with most of the amenities you may require. We offer a good personal service and value for money. We also offer special promotional rates for bookings through the internet which represent considerable savings over our rack rates. Prices are subject to confirmation.

Reservations

We would love to have an automated reservation system but things cannot work that way around here. Our regular guests have priority and they also have their preferred rooms. Mama Catherine carefully preparing their usual rooms and upsetting the reservation system.
